Meet Mario and Valia

Mario Coletta was a resilient man who came to the US from Italy and made nothing short of an impact throughout his life. From his service in the US Army and National Guard, to establishing his own business, he was a truly remarkable gentleman. Mario had a passion for running, effortlessly completing 5 miles a day, 4 days a week. Toward the latter part of his life, Mario suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease, bringing an unfortunate end to his daily runs.

Valia Coletta worked hard by Mario’s side while she took care of the family. Although she had health problems throughout her life, her strength was inconceivable, and nothing kept her down. Her struggle with polycystic kidney disease and the support she received from the PKD Foundation inspired her to donate to their cause. Valia was very generous and gave to several additional organizations including the American Heart Association, Miriam Hospital, Saint Ann’s, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Mario and Valia established a company built on hard work and determination, taking pride in building a business that touched people’s lives in many ways. They never forgot where they came from or how they were helped along the way, so in turn they gave back. Mario and Valia instilled these values in their children. In tribute to her parents, Sandra Delli Carpini established Angels Giving Back in 2019, and has made it her mission to continue their legacy, providing vital support to organizations and communities in need.
